Hush Technologies, Inc. ("HushSafe", "we", "us") operates the HushSafe content moderation API and dashboard. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, organization name, and a hashed password. We do not store plaintext passwords.
API usage data: We log metadata about each moderation request — including a 120-character text preview (configurable), the moderation decision, category scores, tier reached, latency, and timestamp. We do not use your content to train models without explicit written consent.
Billing information: Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. We store Stripe customer IDs, invoice references, and plan information.

We use collected data to: provide the moderation API and dashboard; process payments; send transactional emails (API key creation, billing alerts, security notices); improve reliability and performance; and comply with legal obligations.

Request logs are retained for the period configured in your dashboard (default: 30 days). Text previews are automatically purged after the retention period. Account data is retained while your account is active and for up to 90 days after deletion.
We do not sell your data. We share data only with: infrastructure subprocessors listed at hushsafe.com/dpa (AWS, Supabase, Akamai, Stripe); law enforcement when legally required; and with your explicit consent.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@hushsafe.com. EU/EEA residents may also lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.
We use industry-standard security measures including TLS in transit, encryption at rest, HMAC-SHA256 API key hashing, row-level security in our database, and signed audit logs. See our Security page for details.
